GEG Zamboanga Inaugural Meetup & Teachers Workshop happened on June 25, 2014 at Ateneo de Zamboanga University. Inaugurated by Mr. Phil Tanpoco of Google Philippines. It was attended by by more that 50 participants from different schools. It was graced by then very supportive and technology-enthusiast SDS now Asst. Regional Director of DepEd ROIX Pete Natividad. In the photo is the former co-lead of GEG Zamboanga now the I.T. Officer I of ZC-SDO Gen Kulong. Ms. Rose Toledo (not in photo), a Master Teacher is now the new co-lead of GEG Zamboanga. Chapter leaders Mic Rute and Rose Toledo are both Certified Google Educators-Level 1.
